I do these dodgeball episodes because I like drawing Ryan in action. The same reason I do the “Midnight Marauder” episodes.
Incidentally, I was watching “Quantum Leap” on Netflix the other day. It was one of the Evil Leaper episodes — specifically, the one that had Neil Patrick Harris as a guest star. In that one, Sam leapt into a college student who would dress up as a “super-hero” called… the Midnight Marauder.
Well… I definitely didn’t get the name from that. And, not to brag, but my costume design was better. Seriously.
