Today’s episode is a callback to a previous strip in which the color went out in the house, just like any other utility. It’s fun to bring back older themes and try to give them a twist.

Though I’m not sure how much more mileage I can get out of this one…

As for the Super Bowl itself, great game, lousy commercials (except for “The Avengers” and “The Voice.”

And that halftime show? I still don’t know what to make of that. I wonder if Madonna was trying to do a satire of halftime shows. If so, mission accomplished.

I had fun with this one. I just wanted to do something just a little different with colors. Nothing real special, but I liked doing it.

Also, I think this is the most implied f-bombs I’ve put into a single episode. That’s more fun than it really should be.
