Davis Monroe, a.k.a. "Ryan's Dad"

Married, father of two.  He loves his family very much, but can’t help thinking about what might have been in his life.  His views are reflected in the stories he tells his son, Ryan.  He’s not really that old, but he’s starting to feel disconnected to the younger Web 2.0 generation.

Ryan Monroe

Eight years old, wise beyond his years yet incredibly naive at the same time.  He’s trying to understand the world around him, but his father’s explanations don’t always help. He has an unrequited crush on his teacher, Miss Worl.

Frederick "Rooster" Monroe

Oldest son and Ryan’s older brother.  A happy-go-lucky sort, he could be doing anything at anytime.  He enjoys being young and carefree which, of course, drives his dad nuts.

Kat Monroe

Davis’ wife, mother to Rooster and Ryan.  She loves her husband and fears for the day when Ryan will grow up and leave.  She believes she has a green thumb but it’s not the brightest shade of green you’ve ever seen.  She works part-time as voice talent for TV and radio.

Max and Norm

Ever hear of an evil twin?  Max and Norm are both evil.  Or at least bullies.  They’re Ryan’s worst nightmare.

"Bomb"

Nicknamed “Bomb” because of her propensity of dropping F-bombs.  Not the nicest trait in an eight year-old girl, though there may be a soft, gooey center underneath a foul-mouthed exterior.

Washington

Ryan’s best friend.  He yearns for adventures in far-off lands.  He also has a crush on “Bomb.”  Which is unfortunate since he’s still at that girl-hating phase.
