Ryan's Dad

“Ryan’s Dad” celebrated its one-year anniversary on February 23.  I haven’t had a lot of readers this past year, but I do know of people who read this comic on a regular basis, and I am very grateful.

This past month in particular has been very good for the strip.  I’ve worked hard to get better in writing and art and I think that work is starting to pay off.  I’m not ready to challenge the better artists in webcomics yet (maybe not even the average ones), but I’m making forward progress and that’s the important thing.  (If you keep moving the chains, you’ll get the touchdown eventually… barring turnovers, of course.)

Also, I was just interviewed about “Ryan’s Dad” in my local newspaper, The Star Press.  First media interview.  I wasn’t sure if I should mention it here (it seems a little self-congratulatory), but since it came up in a previous comment, what the heck.  It was fun, and I’m getting a lot of wonderful feedback.  (The fifteen-minute clock is ticking).
