Okay, here’s the most obscure reference I could think of. The “Special Guest Star” actually comes from the show Lost In Space. In the pilot for that show, the devious Dr. Smith was supposed to die at the end of the episode. But the producers changed the ending to keep Dr. Smith aboard the Jupiter II. Jonathan Harris, who played Dr. Smith, agreed on one condition: He would always be billed as a “Special Guest Star.” And he was. For the entire run of the series. It certainly made him stand out.

No comment on the strip today, just a word about the new font on the site. A little hard to read, for me. I don’t know if it’s just on my computer, or what. Don’t mean to be negative. Sorry.
Yeah, I see it. I’ll try to get that fixed.
Whew! Think I got it worked out. Let me know if the text still looks like junk.
Haha, cool strip!
so who was she, Tony? who broke your heart in 3rd grade and then gave you a D?
She was a very nice student teacher in 3rd grade (about the only teacher who WAS nice at that particular school) and her name really was Miss Worl. She was engaged at the time so I have no idea what her married name turned out to be.
