So, say you’ve got this webcomic site and you’re starting to suspect you’ve been hacked. You were a little lax in upgrading and started getting some funky looking spam and your Archives page won’t show up.
Then you find a tool like looks for suspicious code on your site and it gives you a 75 page report, including an indication that someone may have installed a back door on your site. Do you: a) go through all the offending code and delete it by hand? Or b) Wipe it all out and rebuild the site?
I went with b). Happy Monday to Me. That, combined with the fact that my 20th wedding anniversary is Wednesday (Happy Anniversary to Us!) probably means there won’t be a Wednesday comic this week. Not for sure yet, but I’m still rebuilding the site so don’t hold your breath.
